I have a wonderful announcement to make regarding the new Amazon Kindle Lending Library (http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/?docId=1000739811) and our books.

As of today, all three currently published Portmanteau Press books (Toonopolis: Gemini, Toonopolis Short: Anchihiiroo, and The Myth of Mr. Mom) have been selected to participate in this program.  This means that any reader with a Kindle and an Amazon Prime membership can now borrow these books (digitally) for free, just like he or she would be able to do at a public library with a print book.  We are excited to be a part of this program and expand our readership to a whole new crop of readers.

It is also important to note that these three titles will have a 90-day exclusivity with Amazon for eBook sales.  Due to this, they will be removed from other retailer sites (Smashwords, BN.com, etc.) for the duration of this 90 days.  Should you prefer to obtain eBooks from these sites, you should grab these titles now before they are pulled until March.

This exclusivity, however, only pertains to the digital version of these titles.  All print versions of the books are available through the same sales channels through which they were always available.

Thanks for reading!  Be on the lookout for an upcoming post on Portmanteau Press’s involvement in two Indie Book Collective events (the Indie Book Blowout from December 12-24 and Bestseller For A Day on January 6th)!
